- 33 HR and Recruitment technology firms attend virtual Talent Tech Star Awards ceremony
- 9 companies crowned winners with 10 highly commended by panel of 20 judges
- Clear Review triumphs overall as Champion of Champions
Friday 18th September 2020 – The winners of the 2020 TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards were revealed in a virtual ceremony attended by CEOs and founders of some of the UK’s leading HR and Recruitment companies.
“All of the finalists shortlisted for the TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards are an inspiration to the HR Tech industry, with 33 high potential start-ups and scale-ups generating over a billion revenues and employing over 8,500 people in this transformational industry,” said Alex Evans, Programme Director of TALiNT Partners. “The winners are doubly impressive, demonstrating the value and impact of their solutions to a respected panel of judges. This makes a TIARA Talent Tech Star Award a powerful and prestigious endorsement.”
The judging process was designed around the expectations of buyers and investors, based on key performance metrics, case studies and testimonials. The 2020 judging panel brought together expert perspectives from senior HR and Recruitment industry leaders, investors, and advisors including: Adam Hawkins, Head of Search & Staffing UK&I and EMEA at LinkedIn; Umerah Akram, Head of London Stock Exchange Group’s ELITE programme; and Michael Rendell, founding partner of Nala Ventures and former Partner and Head of Innovation and Transformation at PwC.
An impressive panel of judges was chaired by Martin McCourt, former Dyson CEO and now Chairman and Non Executive Director of companies including Weber, HeadBox, Lightfoot, FreeFlow Technologies and The learning Curve Group.
“This year’s Talent Tech Star Award winners all demonstrated great focus, execution, and ambition,” commented Martin McCourt. “It takes more than good financial performance, well-executed innovation, and customer service to win awards. Clear Review was crowned TIARA Champion of Champions after winning the Talent Tech Customer Service Award. Judges praised Clear Review for “successfully applying performance data to enable continual professional development whilst improving well-being … which is solving a fundamental problem for employers around engagement, productivity and identifying transferable skills.”
